Focused Support
Many private health insurance plans in Manitoba provide coverage for parent training sessions delivered by a registered Speech and Language Pathologist. All sessions within this program are provided by a registered Speech and Language Pathologist, allowing parents to access benefits for parent for training and support, while preserving the child's Speech and Language therapy coverage for direct therapy services. What's included:
- 4 weekly or every other week 50 minute coaching sessions that will be held on zoom (all sessions must be used within a 2 month time frame)
- Email support during regular business hours so that you can ask quick questions between sessions
- Digital copies of materials created to support you, and training for implementing all materials
- A non-judgemental space, for you-the parent, to share concerns
- Behind the scenes, time is also dedicated to finding resources, refining strategies based on your feedback and evolving goals, time is allocated to developing digital materials to support your goals - so that every step we take together is intentional, informed and impactful.
